HUPALUPA STORE has set up a play area where children can experience toys before purchasing, instead of just displaying them on shelves. The layout is based on children freely interacting with different products and creating their own games.

Shelf and play area merge

In the Experience Area, toys for different age groups are taken out of their boxes and placed in a common use area. While children discover products through play, families can directly observe their interests and preferences.

Products from brands such as PLAYMOBIL, MELI, BAVVIC, and MODU are offered at different stations for storytelling, assembling parts, building structures, and movement-based games.

The purchase decision comes after the experience

The mechanism turns product inspection in a toy store into a small-scale trial process. Instead of watching a ready-made product presentation, the child experiences how the toy works in a scenario they create themselves.

The space adds a creative play layer to HUPALUPA's movement-focused entertainment courses. The press release does not share metrics on sales or visitor results.
